Everything’s Coming Up Rosés At Château Minuty In Provence

Hotel, restaurant and wine contributor for Forbes Magazine, John Mariani, sits down for dinner with Château Minuty’s “crusader for rosé” François Matton to learn all about what’s going on in France’s Provence region for the 2018 harvest. First and foremost, Matton, who makes it clear that people who drink rosé only in spring and summer are denying themselves the pleasure of a fresh, brisk, acidic aperitif at any time of year: “If you don’t drink rosé within the year,” said Matton, “the acid decreases and, although the alcohol doesn’t get any higher, the wine will seem heavier and lose its freshness.”

With the 2018 Vintage long gone, consumers are starting to see the 2019 Vintage of Minuty making its way to stores right now. Make March the start of rosé season for the freshest bottles with the brightest acidity!
