Off the Vine: Does wine have a pricing sweet spot?

Wine writer Al Vuona recommended the Guigal 2015 Côtes du Rhône Rouge in an affordable wine roundup on the Telegram & Gazette, a regional Massachusetts newspaper. The story highlights a short list of terrific bottles that are priced in “wine’s sweet spot,” ranging from $15 to $25, and described the Côtes du Rhône as a “full-bodied, rich and intensely aromatic wine that offers ripe red fruit flavors along with a spicy, well-balanced finish.” You can read his full column here.
